Experience fine wines and country hospitality in the relaxing atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. Just a 90-minute drive north of Sydney, the historic Hunter region is renowned for its exceptional wines, mountain rainforests and fertile farmlands. This tour travels to the Hunter Valley via the historic route - you will acquire a feel for some of the heritage in the string of towns that line the New England Highway northwards from Newcastle. Visit McGuigan vineyard where you will enjoy wine and cheese tasting and have private inspections of the wine making process. Lunch will be held at the internationally successful Wyndham Estate where you will also have the opportunity to stroll amongst the vineyards and purchase fine wine. The final stop is Peacock Hill, which boasts panoramic views over a magnificent surrounding countryside. Ticket cost: AUD$140.00 (incl. GST) The tour includes transfers to and from the hotel (Addison's on Anzac) and lunch. The tour will not run with less than 20 people. You will be advised should this occur.
