Sydney's Taronga Park Zoo is a world renowned zoo up there with the likes of the zoos of Singapore and San Diego. It nestles into bushland surrounding Sydney Harbour, commanding majestic views of the City, Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The animals are housed in sensitive exhibits that are stimulating to the animals concerned.

From UNSW, take any of a number of buses that run to Circular Quay, then hop on a ferry across the harbour to the zoo.
